THE CLIENT

Based in Geneva, the International Trade Centre (ITC) is the joint technical cooperation agency of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) and the World Trade Organization (WTO). As the trade development arm of the UN, its mission is to deliver practical support and solutions to businesses to expand exports from developing countries.

ABOUT THE PROJECT

Working as the Senior Writer and Editor at Generation Alliance, I was also the Contributing Editor of the ITC’s quarterly global publication, International Trade Forum magazine between 2009 and 2011.

MY ROLE

Working closely with the ITC’s communications team, my role included:

• Content planning and research

• Sourcing content

• Commissioning and briefing authors

• Writing and editing articles

• Liaising with the design team through to the delivery of print-ready files for production

• Account service / project management
