THE CLIENT

Allegro is an independently owned Australian private equity team who invest in rebuilding great businesses through transformational capital. As Australia’s most-awarded team in the turnaround, special situations and transformation investing space, they have a proven track record in successfully partnering with management teams and other stakeholders to create value in a business regardless of how that business may be performing.

 I first met the team from Allegro in 2015 when I was working as the Communications Director for Sydney-based brand agency, Generation Alliance (Gen.a) – who had been appointed to develop a new brand strategy, refresh Allegro’s identity and roll it out across multiple platforms including Allegro’s website, case studies and marketing materials.

In an unusual twist of fate, I crossed paths with Allegro again in 2017-2019 when I became part of the management team for one of Allegro’s investments – Healthy Life.


MY ROLE

Working as the Communications Director for Sydney-based brand agency, Generation Alliance (Gen.a) at the time, my role on Allegro’s brand refresh included:

  • Brand strategy

  • Stakeholder engagement & interviews

  • Content development – website, case studies & marketing collateral

  • Liaising with Gen.a’s in-house design team

  • Account service/ project management
